Kashaf Ali joins the real estate advisor’s Newcastle office from Turner and Townsend, where he was cost manager.

Ali will be involved with quantity surveying and project management on developments throughout the North East.

During his time at Turner and Townsend, he worked in real estate across the commercial, residential, life sciences, education, and health sectors.

Ali also worked at Adderstone Group for two years after graduating from Northumbria University with a BSc in quantity surveying, and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Ali said: “The opportunity to engage in the many transformational projects that are reshaping the city is a truly exciting prospect; I look forward to collaborating with the team to drive these schemes to completion.”

Gordon Hewling, principal and managing director, Avison Young, Newcastle commented: “This is a further key appointment for the expanding office and within our extremely busy Building and Project Consultancy team.

“The office holds a strong position in the market, providing strategic real estate advice to both the public and private sectors.

“We have a very healthy confirmed pipeline, which we see as key to attracting the best talent.

“Kashaf’s appointment represents a positive move to increase our resource to meet the demand going forward for a strong client base.”
