Brabners becomes Place North partner
The law firm is playing a crucial role in shaping some of the region’s largest regeneration schemes and has chosen Place North to help support its mission to create a positive future for the North.
Brabners has signed up to a year-long package of activity that includes sponsorship of some of Place North’s most popular conferences.
The firm will sponsor Place North’s upcoming Question Time event, which will be held this November and bring together leaders to debate the future of the North.
In addition, Brabners will support Place’s North West Emerging Development Hotspots and Revitalising our Town and City Centres – a new Place North West event for 2025.
The decision to back these two conferences aligns with Brabners’ regeneration work in Birkenhead, Oldham, and Morecambe, among other towns.
Iain Gamble, head of real estate at Brabners, said becoming a Place partner forms part of the firm’s True North mission, an initiative that aims to create a strategic vision for the North by encouraging collaboration between the public and private sectors.
“We continue to shape some of the region’s most significant schemes such as Peel’s Liverpool Waters and Wirral Waters, Ion’s Hind Street Urban Village in Birkenhead, Eden Project Morecambe, and the regeneration of Oldham town centre,” Gamble said.
“So, at a time when devolution is accelerating under the new government, this partnership with Place North provides us with an important platform to support that change, collaborating with others who share our desire to create a more sustainable, innovative and equitable future for the North.”
