Dalton Park Outlet achieves full occupancy
For the first time in the shopping destination’s 22-year history, it is 100% let – with CafeBar Eighteen38 taking the final unit.
Global Mutual acquired the North East’s largest outlet centre in 2022, and since then has targeted more premium retailers and diversified its tenant mix in a bid to attract new brands and increase sales.
The real estate company has taken occupancy from 87% to full, and has seen a 20% increase in sales between December 2022 and December 2024.
It has also brought brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and high street brands Saltrock and White Stuff to the outlet, with the mixed-fashion category seeing a 117% increase in the same period.
It has also increased its F&B offering, including the latest addition of CafeBar Eighteen38, which will open this summer and has applied to Durham County Council for live music and alcohol licenses.
Nicky Lovell, head of outlets and retail business development at Global Mutual said: “Reaching 100% occupancy is a significant milestone and a clear reflection of our long-term vision for Dalton Park.
“Since acquiring the centre, we’ve focused on building a high-performing, resilient retail environment by attracting brands that align with our shoppers and deliver strong results for our tenants.
