The event will:
- Bring you up to speed with Bolton’s fast-paced regeneration story, and showcase investment opportunities in the area
- Explore the importance of well-functioning public-private sector partnerships, discussing best practice and sharing lessons learned
- Discuss how to unlock regeneration opportunities
The event takes place between 8am – 11.30am, including a mixture of presentations and panel discussions. Breakfast is included, providing plenty of opportunity for business development.

- JON DYSON, BOLTON COUNCIL | Jon joined Bolton Council in 2020, and as a member of the Corporate Leadership Team, has strategic responsibilities relating to environment and regulation, highways and engineering and more recently, economic development and regeneration which includes delivery of the Bolton town centre and district centre master plans and wider place making activity having regard to the boroughs vision for 2040.
- CHARLOTTE CORDINGLEY, CLEAR FUTURES | A large proportion of Charlotte’s experience has been undertaking large, complex mixed-use asset optimisation, development, construction, and regeneration schemes on behalf of the public sector. She has extensive place-based programme leadership expertise in leading system wide multi-disciplinary teams to achieve award winning estate & regeneration outcomes for local communities.
- PHIL JONES, PLACEFIRST | Phil is Placefirst’s experienced project director who is responsible for group wide health & safety, as well as the quality delivery of all new projects and homes. Phil is a chartered builder and previously worked for well-known contractors, consultants and developers throughout the UK.
- Harinder Dhaliwal, Step Group
Founder of First Step Group Harinder ‘Harry’ is a property person through and through, he has over 25 years’ experience in the industry.
Under his leadership, the company has built up a track record of delivering successful, high-quality developments in the North West and West Midlands. He is passionate about making places and delivering developments.
- Louise brings over 20 years of experience in architectural and urban design, delivering projects for both private and public sector clients. Her background includes roles at Planit-IE, IBI Group, and PRP Architects, as well as with residential developers. Her work spans city masterplans, town centre Strategic Regeneration Frameworks (SRFs), and public realm strategies in collaboration with local authorities, as well as urban extensions, residential planning applications, and design codes with developers.
Her professional background is strong in residential design, including complex urban housing, regeneration projects, and developments within sensitive landscape and heritage settings. Additionally, Louise serves as a design review panellist and supporting chair for PlacesMatter in the North West, advising on design issues to promote high-quality development and placemaking.
