Finnimore on board at Earth Environmental
Paul Finnimore, who joined the firm in 2022, has been made a board director, heading up the North East and Scotland regional offices from Redcar.
Adam Czarnecki, chairman of Earth Environmental & Geotechnical, said: “We have seen extensive growth in the North East and Scotland region, especially in the renewable energy sector. – so the company directors are delighted that Paul has joined the board.
“Our renewable energy and battery storage site investigation services continue to be in demand, especially in this region, so having Paul on the board leading this growth is fantastic news.”
As well as overseeing operations at the Wilton Centre in Redcar, Finnimore, who worked at companies including Solmek and Geoinvestigate before joining Earth, will be responsible for the firm’s two Scottish offices, in Edinburgh and the recently opened Inverness base.

Projects have included rotary coring at numerous sites including intrusive investigation for a bridge refurbishment for North Yorkshire Council, subsidence surveys, percolation tests for a horse riding school and site investigations at a former quarry in Berwick, he said.
