Homes England heads to MIPIM with Place North
The government’s regeneration and housing agency has confirmed its attendance at the international real estate show in March, agreeing a partnership with Place North.
The MIPIM collaboration follows closely after Homes England announced a new strategy for 2025-30 and reorganisation that included executive regional directors for North West, Yorkshire and North East, as well as the Midlands. UK Government has allocated £46bn to Homes England over the next 10 years according to the agency’s latest strategic plan.
A spokesperson for Homes England said: “Homes England will be attending MIPIM 2026, the international property expo, to actively engage with investors, developers, and partners, championing collaboration to accelerate housing delivery and regeneration across England. Our presence is about driving conversations that unlock investment, foster innovation, and support the creation of high-quality, sustainable communities.
“We will showcase the upcoming launch of the National Housing Bank in April 2026, a transformative initiative backed by £16bn of public investment to unlock £53bn of private capital and deliver 500,000 homes. Alongside this, we’ll share our Strategic Plan 2025–30 and Investment Roadmap, outlining priorities to boost housing supply, increase social and affordable homes, and ensure safe, decent living standards. Through speaking engagements within the UK Hub programme, including the British Property Federation reception and Place North sessions, we aim to build strong partnerships and demonstrate how Homes England is helping deliver 1.5 million homes this Parliament.”
Dino Moutsopoulos, managing partner and head of commercial, added: “Having the Government’s housing agency attend MIPIM with us is testament to how far Place has come.
“We are now firmly the UK’s number one choice for property news and events, and I am very much looking forward to introducing our delegation to the Homes England representatives during the course of MIPIM.
“Place Media Group has, in the past few short years, established a new way to do MIPIM, a supportive, collaborative approach that works for all organisations – small, medium and large – and it doesn’t get much larger than Homes England.”
MIPIM is due to be held from 9 to 13 March in Cannes, France. The global real estate event attracts more than 20,000 delegates annually.
As a Place North at MIPIM partner, Homes England will be sending a strong delegation of officials. Activity featured in the package with Place North covers access to insight sessions on stage as well as senior networking receptions.
Benefits for partners
Joining the campaign plugs your organisation into a curated programme that puts you in front of global investors, major developers, and senior public sector leaders over an intense, high-value week. You benefit from shared branding, association with respected regional coverage, and the effect of being part of a coordinated UK-wide presence.
The partnership approach also massively reduces friction: logistics, programming, and audience-building are handled by the Place team with nearly 20 years’ experience in property events, freeing you to focus on strategic conversations, relationship-building, and showcasing your pipeline. With Place shaping the narrative, partners can confidently position schemes, towns, and businesses as investible, future-facing and ready.

What your campaign could include
A typical campaign of activity can blend on-the-ground presence in Cannes with pre- and post-MIPIM amplification. Elements might include:
- Speaking slots on the UK Stage or themed sessions such as Investible North or Great Minds to spotlight specific projects, boroughs, or sectors.
- Hosted panel debates, roundtables, or private briefings in the North of England Suite or Palais stand, using the terrace and inner lounge for launches or investor receptions.
- Thought leadership content, in-focus interviews, and video features distributed through Place’s channels to extend reach well beyond the four days in Cannes.
- Structured networking: curated introductions to councils, funders, and development partners, plus invites to breakfasts, dinners, and informal socials where real deals begin.
