Langley Holdings scores East Gateshead hat trick
Agent Avison Young has secured three lettings at Saltmeadows Trade Park and the adjoining Baltic Park, representing a combined 11,700 sq ft.
At Saltmeadows, Waterfalls Group has taken a lease of the 7,300 sq ft Unit 12, while Green Thumb has committed to the 2,000 sq ft Unit 10.
On Baltic Park, BBS Switchgear has agreed terms for the 2,400 sq ft Unit F. AY represented the landlord on all deals.
The £5.7m Baltic Park scheme was completed in 2018, with Robertson North East delivering the project for Langley, the privately owned engineering and industrial group. The development comprises around 97,000 sq ft of industrial space.
Both schemes lie within the East Gateshead Industrial Estate, adjacent to the A184 Felling-by-Pass, offering easy access to the A19 and A1M as well as to Gateshead town centre and Newcastle city centre.

AY said that interest is strong in the remaining units.
