Max King returns to Muse to focus on Yorkshire and the North East

King has rejoined the developer as director of project management for the regions, where he is working on the developer’s Sunniside Sunderland regeneration scheme.

King returns to Muse after a brief spell as director of project management at Latimer by Clarion, having previously spent four years with the developer before leaving at the start of this year.

He brings more than 20 years’ experience in project and development management, including seven years as director of projects at Placefirst and six years at Deloitte, where he progressed to associate director.

Posting on LinkedIn, King said: “I’m delighted to be returning to Muse as director of project management for Yorkshire and the North East.

“Having worked with Muse previously, it’s a privilege to rejoin a business with a proven track record of delivering regeneration that creates lasting economic, social and environmental value.

“Having seen first-hand the transformational impact that ambitious regeneration can have in Manchester over recent years, I’m excited to be back in Yorkshire at a time when this region is poised for its own defining chapter.

“Significant investment, growing confidence and a strong pipeline of opportunities are creating real momentum across city and town centre regeneration, new homes, new innovative spaces, commercial space, and infrastructure.

“For me, the timing couldn’t be better. Yorkshire and the North East have the talent, ambition and potential to deliver places that compete on a national stage, and there is a clear determination from both the public and private sectors to make that happen.

“The region’s regeneration pipeline is substantial, but turning opportunity into impact will require bold partnerships, decisive leadership and a relentless focus on delivery.

“I’m looking forward to working with colleagues, partners and stakeholders across the region to help unlock that potential and create places that generate lasting value for communities, institutions, businesses and investors.

“I’m excited to be getting to know all our partners and suppliers and for what comes next.”
