Morgan Sindall appoints area director for North East and Cumbria
Originally from Hartlepool, Corrigan is based at the contractor’s Newcastle office. He joins Morgan Sindall following 12 years at Willmott Dixon, where he rose to director level.
Prior to that, he has also had positions at Miller Homes and GB Building Solutions.
Projects that will fall under his jurisdiction include a project for the Defence Estate Optimisation Army Programme at Marne Barracks in Catterick, North Yorkshire, where ground was broken earlier this year on 205 new and refurbished bedspaces, a workshop, and garaging, sports and storage facilities.
Due to complete by the end of 2027, the work will ready the barracks for the arrival of the Royal Engineers’ 21 Engineer Regiment from Ripon.
Morgan Sindall is also expanding classroom capacity at TTE Middlesbrough College, while at Appleby Grammar School the business is restoring the grade two-listed main building and adding a new ‘superblock’ of laboratories, classrooms and technology hubs.
In West Denton, Newcastle, meanwhile, work started earlier this year on the Outer West Leisure Centre while more broadly, Morgan Sindall also continues to support a range of customers across the North East and Cumbria through major regional frameworks, including NEPO, SCAPE and Pagabo.
