Northern Trust expands Number One Industrial Estate in Consett
The project includes the refurbishment of block 10 and the construction of three new warehouses that will offer a combined 39,000 sq ft.
The three new buildings will create 19 industrial units, ranging from 800 sq ft to 5,000 sq ft.
Amid continued demand across the North East, Northern Trust will completely strip out and refurbish block 10 to create six units, all with new cladding and office accommodation.
New blocks 3 and 4 will provide three workshops each, all with offices, while block 11 will comprise one large unit and six smaller workshops.
Service yards, parking areas, and an electrical substation to serve the development will also be built.
Number One Industrial Estate currently extends to approximately 500,000 sq ft across 86 units and is home to local, regional, and national occupiers.
Located in County Durham, the estate sits approximately 14 miles south west of Newcastle upon Tyne.
