Savills brings Morpeth employment land to market
The 20-acre greenfield site is north of Lancaster Park, close to Northgate Hospital in the Northumberland town.
With no official price, Savills is inviting offers for the whole or part of the plot.
Close to the A1 and the East Coast Mainline, the site is just over a mile from Morpeth town centre and is currently in agricultural use.
It is bordered by woodland, hedgerows, and is allocated for employment development in both the Morpeth and Northumberland Local Plans.
Recent nearby schemes – including new housing at the former Northgate Hospital – reinforce the area’s suitability for future residential-led development.
Savills is inviting offers for the whole or part of the site, on either an unconditional basis or subject to planning. Viewings are strictly by prior appointment.
The site is available via Informal Tender, with bids invited by noon on Friday 6 March.
Ray Minto, Director and head of development at Savills Newcastle, said: “This is a rare opportunity to acquire a strategically positioned site with exceptional connectivity in one of Northumberland’s most sought-after locations.
“With longstanding employment allocation and clear potential for alternative uses, subject to planning, the site offers potential buyers considerable flexibility depending on their development aspirations.”
