Work starts on £13m County Durham resi
Homes by Carlton is partnering with Karbon Homes’ Next Level Developments, which is providing the full funding package for the 46-home Saxon Vale project.
Saxon Vale, in Sadberge, will consist of 46 semi and detached properties, ranging from three to six bedrooms.
Ground has now been broken on the development, with the first CGI released to offer a hint of what the scheme will look like upon completion.
“This exciting development will create luxurious homes that will further enhance this wonderful area,” said Simon Walker, managing director of Homes by Carlton.
“Breaking ground on the site is a major milestone for the project, and around 30 jobs will be created to help bring these stunning homes to our region. We will also contribute £50,000 towards developing a children’s play area for local families to enjoy, meaning this development can benefit the wider community.”
Potential homeowners are now able to register their interest in the development.
Saxon Vale forms part of a £100m commitment by County Durham-based Homes by Carlton to deliver homes across the North East, a commitment that has already seen work start on other sites including Woodberry Park in Staindrop, and Beauford Park in Witton Gilbert.
Next Level is the joint venture funding arm of Karbon. The site was secured in autumn last year.
