ANDY BURNHAM | Andy Burnham is the Mayor of Greater Manchester. Under his leadership, Greater Manchester took back control of its buses and introduced the Bee Network, a public transport network that controls the trams, buses, and bikes and seeks to improve the walking and cycling infrastructure in the region.

PHIL COOPER, HOPE ARCHITECTS | Phil is a chartered architect with a professional focus on land & build efficiency, data-driven design and people-focused places, he’s committed to unlocking the potential of sites and creating homes that people want to live in.

SUZANNE BENSON, TROWERS & HAMLINS | Suzanne specialises in major projects – including strategic land, joint ventures and regeneration – as well as the delivery of residential and mixed use schemes. Suzanne specialises in the development of market stimulation products and home ownership initiatives and advises Homes England in relation to their range of grant funded homeownership products – including shared ownership and Help to Buy.

SANDY LIVINGSTONE, ONWARD HOMES.
Sandy is the Executive Director of Property for Onward Homes.
Onward are a developing housing association that owns and manages 35,000 homes across the North West. Sandy is responsible for the delivery of Onward’s development programme of 5,000 new homes by 2030, a £100m retrofit programme addressing some of Onward’s least energy-efficient properties, maintenance, and its strategic approach to asset management.

SHANNON CONWAY, PICTURE THIS.
Shannon is Co-Founder of Picture This, a BTR developer and manager with a clearly defined purpose and set of people-focussed values. Their first scheme, Picture This Stockport, is being delivered with joint venture partner Progressive Developments, providing 250 low-energy apartments designed using age-inclusive guidelines and managed with community-led principles.

LAURA BLAKEY, GMCA.
Laura is Director of Strategic Finance & Investment, GMCA 

In Laura’s role she oversees the £500m+ of GMCA investment funds operating across housing, commercial property and business. Laura also heads up the GMCA’s strategic finance function, bridging the gap between finance and strategy. Laura is a Chartered Accountant and prior to joining the GMCA spent 13 years at KPMG. 

JERMAINE BROWNE, RE-SHAPE.
Jermaine is a former Local Government Town Planner who co-founded: the alternative living development company, Re:shape Living Group; the operational Coliving Platform, ARK; and the Second-Generation Shared Living Consortium (SGSLC).
Jermaine has worked in Planning and Real Estate for over 15 years and is recognised as one of the UK’s leading alternative living experts, having co-designed and secured planning permission for 3,000 co-living homes worth in excess of £800 million GDV across London and Dublin since 2018.

REBECCA COLEY, TRAFFORD COUNCIL.

Rebecca Coley joined Trafford in 2016 as Head of Planning and Development. She has over 20 years’ experience in local government and is an advocate for public sector planning. Whilst at Trafford, Rebecca has delivered a number of key projects, including the outline permission and subsequent design framework for 3000 homes at Trafford Waters; the award-winning Civic Quarter Area Action Plan and the innovative digital Trafford Design Code. Rebecca is passionate about design and quality in the built environment and promoting female leadership and influence. She is a regular contributor to the ‘Fifty Shades of Planning’ podcast.

JAROD KELLY, Northstone.
Northstone is the housebuilding arm of Peel L&P. It was established in 2018 to develop new-build housing schemes across Peel’s extensive North West land holdings with a focus on innovative design, sustainability and flexibility. Northstone have also been actively seeking opportunities on other land holdings, for Open Market Sale, Additionality and Built-to-Rent. Jarod rightly prides himself on his strong relationships with Registered Providers and Homes England, having previously worked at Great Places and Torus. Jarod will be looking to secure a pipeline for Northstone to deliver our key objective of realising the possibilities in each of our unique developments, creating great places and providing tenure diversity alongside market leading green initiatives.

SYREETA BAYNE, MUSE
Syreeta joined Muse in 2023 from JLL where she was working as the EMEA Head of Social Value as part of the Global Sustainable Operations Team. Syreeta has circa 15 years’ experience in the real estate sector, six of which were in the construction sector working at Interserve and BAM UK. During this time, Syreeta led various social and sustainability projects in partnership with private and public sector clients including Aviva, Legal and General Investment Management, LaSalle and Homes England. Today, Syreeta leads and implements Muse’s social impact and sustainability strategy, “Our Sustainable Future”, ensuring positive social and environmental impact, sustainability, and equality, diversity and inclusion is embedded in business activity and developments.

JUSTIN HARLEY, YARDI.
Justin Harley, regional director for Yardi, has over 20 years of experience in building and implementing software solutions to make portfolios operationally efficient. Harley joined Yardi in 2019 and helps clients and prospects adopt the best tech solutions for their businesses to automate processes, streamline operations and provide a frictionless experience to tenants.

GUY BUTLER, GLENBROOK.
Guy graduated from Reading University where he read Land Management, and further read European Property Investment at City, University of London. He joined the Grosvenor Estate, where he delivered a number of large and complex urban regeneration projects, the largest being Liverpool ONE. In 2014 he joined forces with Ian Sherry to form Glenbrook; the business is formed of both investment and development arms. The investment arm has a number of properties from Newport to Scunthorpe, and has investments in all land uses from retail parks to farmland. The development business focuses on residential and industrial and is active from Milton Keynes to Leeds. It is currently building 1,135 new homes with another 618 starting shortly and has a 40-acre industrial development in Wigan.
