Opportunities for the North of England to shine at the international property expo have just increased, with Place North taking over a prominent suite overlooking the Croisette.

MIPIM veterans will be familiar with the suite, which was the home of Manchester for years prior to the city’s move closer to the beach.
Place launched the suite at an event on Tuesday at HBD’s Island in Manchester. You can see photos from the event in the gallery below.
“In my opinion this space is one of the very best available at MIPIM,” said Dino Moutsopoulos, managing partner at Place North.
“It’s easily located, offering a private, sound-proofed indoor space and a prominent outdoor space overlooking the Croisette,” he continued.
“The flexibility and scope now in our control will allow us to work closely with our partners to shape MIPIM even more, creating an array of different opportunities including launch events, panel debates, presentations, cocktail hours, and private lunches.”
Moutsopoulos added: “We envisage that this space will also be a very attractive option for cities and towns across the North that want to showcase various investment and development opportunities through ‘City/Town Take-Over’ sessions.

The North of England Suite is in addition to Place’s North of England stand, which sits within the UK Hub. This provides two fantastic avenues for Northern authorities and companies to get their projects in front of MIPIM’s more than 20,000 attendees.
The North’s ambition has not gone unnoticed.

In addition to the stand and suite, Place will be delivering a variety of events geared towards putting a spotlight on the North.
These include an arrival reception on 9 March, an investor breakfast on 10 March, a state of the market breakfast conference on 11 March, and an industrial and logistics breakfast conference on 12 March.
These are in addition to a series of panel sessions on the UK Main Stage, which will also put a spotlight on Scotland through our Scotland at MIPIM initiative.
