Place North brought the region to the forefront of the international property community at MIPIM in 2026. Next year, we aim to do even more – with more events, more branding opportunities, and more networking receptions.

Chief executives, managing directors, and senior local authority figures gathered together on Monday night to reconnect after a successful conference in Cannes and for the launch of Place North’s 2027 MIPIM packages.

Next year, Place will build on the success of 2026, which saw more than 600 attendees come and learn more about the North’s £476bn economy and property investment potential. Our message regarding the North resonated outside of Cannes as well, with 48,000 website views and 64,000 LinkedIn impressions on our MIPIM coverage during the event week.

The North of England Suite will return in 2027, providing a centralised hub for the region and a place perfect for networking, masterclass workshops, panel sessions, and private roundtables.

A new event – the UK Regions Lunch – will provide an additional chance to showcase the wealth of investment opportunities in the country, including those in Scotland, the Midlands, and in the South, while also connecting senior figures across the public and private sectors.

Place has also created a new delegation tier, the Exec Partner. This offering provides more access and more tickets to our MIPIM events, both in the UK and in Cannes.

Place managing partner Dino Moutsopoulos said: “After another excellent showing in March we have been very impressed by the positive reaction to the North at MIPIM.
