Work is expected to start on site in 2026 and will form the final part of the Mount Oswald project, which began in 2013 and consists of 291 homes, offices, and retail space.

Banks Group noted the large student population and said the housing will reduce demand for HMO properties, which was highlighted as a reason for its approval.

The project team includes Gradon Architecture, Structural & Civil, Portland Consulting, and NEECO.
