The four-unit development at Turbine Business Park in Washington was bought by the property company from Block Industrial.

Avison Young, Newcastle, and CBRE’s Leeds office acted on behalf of seller Block, while Knight Frank represented Waterfall Property.

Two of the units are already let to Bathroom Cladding Direct and Rheal Superfoods, whilst the remaining two are available to rent.

Built in 2023, the units are located close to the A19, the A1, and the nearby 3.90m sq ft Nissan car plant.

Simon Beanland, principal, Avison Young said: “Having previously advised our client on the acquisition of the site, we were  pleased to have been retained to jointly advise on the disposal.

“Turbine provides high specification accommodation with excellent ESG credentials in a prime industrial location
for the North East”

Henry King, associate director, CBRE added: “Our client has done a fantastic job developing out a real high-quality industrial scheme and we are pleased to have been able to advise on the successful disposal, ahead of formal marketing.”
