STACK confirmed for Worswick Chambers

Work is underway at the venue close to Pilgrim Street, with the hospitality firm taking over three floors and planning to open later on this year.

The grade two-listed building has undergone renovation, which completed last September.

The project team on what is a key part of the Pilgrim Street masterplan included Avison Young, SHED Engineers, OOBE Landscape Architects, and contractor Bowmer + Kirkland.

STACK first launched in Newcastle in 2018 and remained popular until its closure in 2022.

Now, the company has confirmed its new venue, stating on its Instagram page: “STACK Newcastle is coming back bigger, bolder, and completely reimagined!

“Our new home at the stunning Worswick Chambers seamlessly blends iconic grade two-listed architecture with the STACK-style shipping container vibes you all know and love.

“We’re talking three floors, exposed brick indoor spaces, multiple terraces, an interactive gaming area, and of course, an outdoor area with a stage for lots of incredible live entertainment..”
