Central Point refurb paves way for accountant move

Pneuma Property Group has revamped the west wing of the second floor of its recently acquired Middlesbrough office block for Beaumont Accountancy Services.

The property arm of Middlesbrough-based Pneuma Group, working alongside Projekt Architects, redeveloped the 3,360 sq ft space within six weeks to provide a revitalised office space for the accountant.

Beaumont Accountancy Services has been operating in the region for more than a decade.

Pneuma said that local sourcing had ben done wherever possible, while the space boasts an air exchange system which heats and cools the office in a sustainable way whilst minimising overall energy costs.

Tony Todd, head of construction at Pneuma Property Group said: “We were able to complete the whole project in six weeks, with a three-week design period, using local contractors where possible. It’s incredibly important to work with the ethos of providing great terms for subcontractors, especially within the current construction climate.”

Elizabeth Teasdale and her team at Beaumont Accountancy Services worked with the construction team to reimagine the layout of the space to suit a more modern way of working. She commented, “We’re delighted to get into the new space and are already welcoming clients in to provide a first-class service. The office will give us an excellent, tailored space, not only for our clients, but also for our staff to work from.”

Keith Nicholson, chief operating officer of Pneuma Group, added: “It’s been a delight to work with Elizabeth and her team on the new lease. Thanks to both her and Endeavour Law the lease process was smooth and simple.”

Over the coming months the Pneuma Property Group team has further plans to revitalise other areas of Central Point. The wider Pneuma Group is the parent of gaming success story Double Eleven, which has this year taken on the 60,000 sq ft Boho X as its headquarters.
