Duchy Homes to deliver in Yarm

Reserved matters approval has been secured by the housebuilder to deliver 246 homes on land off Green Lane.

Duchy Homes said the Hall Wood Meadows development will see energy efficient homes developed in a project with “a multitude of off-site community benefits, including highway improvements, school and open space contributions”.

Work on site will start in summer and the development will comprise a mix of two-, three-, and four-bed homes, of which 49 will be affordable.

Duchy Homes’ North East & Yorkshire region has been in operation for more than a decade and is currently considering further development opportunities.

Head of land & planning, Tori Hall, said: “Obtaining planning consent for our Hall Wood Meadows development presents us with an opportunity to further underpin the disciplined growth strategy of Duchy Homes, so we are very pleased to have secured consent and look forward to starting on site.

“As a growing SME housebuilder, we are committed to building quality homes and a development customers would be proud to live in. Our land teams are actively looking to purchase new sites across our operational areas.”
