Redding on the move to Pegasus Group

The development consultancy has hired John Redding as transport director for the North East, working from the Newcastle office.

Redding, who was previously at WSP, following earlier spells with Aecom, WYG and RPS, will operate across the region, complementing divisional colleagues in Birmingham, Bristol and Cambridge.

With more than three decades in the field of transport and development planning, Redding brings with him a wealth of experience.

He said: “I am thrilled to be joining the already successful Pegasus planning team in Newcastle and I am looking forward to growing a transport planning team to serve existing and new developer clients across the North East.”

Redding’s particular areas of expertise include liaison between private sector developers and local authorities, strategic transport assessments, travel plans, development planning and parking studies.

He also covers the development and evaluation of innovative transport projects, travel demand modelling and forecasting, highways advice on public transport interchanges, junction analysis and evaluation, and traffic engineering and design.
