As set out by NEUPC, works procured under this framework will involve all aspects of refurbishment works, typical of university buildings such as but not limited to laboratories, small and complex lecture theatres, libraries, café and commercial kitchens, offices, public areas, meeting rooms, conference rooms, accommodation, and plant areas, in buildings of varying age and condition, including heritage buildings.
There are lots across four value bands, with the first covering projects up to £250,000, and three geographic areas set out at £10m each: North East, Yorkshire & Humber and Midlands.
Yorkshire and Midlands projects are also covered in the brackets of £250,000 to £1.5m; £1.5m to £4m, and £4m to £10m. The overall value of each of these is £15m, £25m and £45m, giving the whole framework a total value of £200m.
The process is now open through Delta eSourcing. Interested parties are invited to register their interest by 30 January.
