Apexon makes Sunderland move
The tech services company has committed to 5,700 sq ft at The Beam as it looks to build a base for UK growth.
Apexon, a Goldman Sachs-backed business specialising in delivering technology services that accelerate business transformation, will move to the 59,000 sq ft Riverside Sunderland office block, which also houses Ocado and North East Screen.

Since it first opened an office in the Sunderland area in 2014, Apexon has grown from 25 employees to more than 150 and now partners with Sunderland College to provide on-the-job training for T-level students.

The Beam sites within the Vaux area of the Riverside Sunderland masterplan, where Wates has now stepped in as main contractor for a flagship residential project.
