Caddick Civil Engineering appoints North East construction director
Lee Brown is joining from N&T Civils, with a remit to expand business in the region and will be based at the Durham office.
Brown has more than three decades of experience in construction and civil engineering, having spent 20 years at Tilbury Douglas before working for civil engineering contractors Arrowbuild & Civil Engineering, Applebridge, and Tolent.
His primary responsibilities will include overseeing the delivery and completion of projects, coordinating the business’ internal staff and external labour resources across multiple active sites, along with managing the local supply chain.
Caddick opened its Durham base in March last year, as part of a concerted effort to grow business in the North East.
Paul Ellenor, managing director of Caddick Civil Engineering, commented: “Lee’s appointment to the team is a significant step forward for our expansion plans in the North East.
“His extensive experience, in the region and across all aspects of construction and civil engineering, makes him an invaluable addition as we continue to grow our presence and service offering.
“His leadership will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of our current and future projects, and in expanding our relationships with new and existing clients.”
Brown added: “Having previously worked with Paul and knowing his strong work ethic, passion and desire for success, I knew this would be a great opportunity to re-join forces with a trusted colleague.
“I’m looking forward to working together and using my experience to assist the team in building the business’ profile, attracting a diverse range of external clients and delivering high-quality projects.”
