Oseyo moves into Eldon Square
The Korean food and lifestyle retailer has taken 20,000 sq ft at the Newcastle shopping centre, its largest store to date and its debut location in the North East.
The store will sell Asian groceries, fresh produce, beauty, and lifestyle products with interactive features including a Ramyun Library, Korean-style photobooths, Japanese claw machines, and tasting areas.
The opening reflects the continued occupier confidence in Eldon Square and supports the destination’s strategy to attract innovative brands that increase dwell time, broaden its appeal and create new reasons to visit.
It follows the launch of Freight Island at the centre, a 60,000 sq ft Tivoli-inspired venue, which has taken a 15-year lease at the former Debenhams unit and a roof-top space.
Pradera manages Eldon Square on behalf of joint owners XPE Group and Newcastle City Council, leading the shopping centre’s asset management and leasing strategy.
