Carter Towler strengthens Durham team

The firm has appointed experienced surveyor and valuer Jeff Robertson as a consultant.

With nearly 30 years’ experience, Robertson has worked across the North with firms including Lambert Smith Hampton, Dresler Smith, and Bowcliffe.

Carter Towler Director Matt Faulkes said: “We are extremely lucky to have persuaded Jeff to join Carter Towler as a consultant surveyor.

“Our Durham office, headed up by Steve Smith, is very much looking forward to working with Jeff, not only for his depth of valuation expertise but also to assist with the increasing demand we are experiencing for our agency, development, and lease advisory services.

“We are now able to offer our clients with a comprehensive range of services in addition to the agency, property management and building consultancy we already provide.”

“Jeff’s appointment strengthens our offering and will enable us to expand our geographical reach across Durham and the North East.”

Robertson added: “Carter Towler is one of the UK’s leading independent property consultancies, the company prides itself on its strong regional presence and exceptional customer service, I am very much looking forward to being part of that.”

The company, which employs 58 staff across its offices in York, Leeds and Durham, has completed more than 300 valuations in the last year, with a total asset value exceeding £500m.

Carter Towler’s property management department managed more than 5,000 properties nationwide, while the building consultancy team oversaw projects valuing £1.4m.
