Logistics firm takes 58,000 sq ft at Blyth Riverside Park
3PLWOW’s long-term lease with Mileway expands the company’s capacity and locates the business close to the A19 and A1, as well as the Port of Blyth.
The letting is one of the largest in South Northumberland in recent years, and follows Mileway’s full refurbishment of the unit, completed ahead of occupation.
Improvements included eaves height up to 7.8m, a secure yard, and offices suitable for a range of industrial, logistics, and distribution uses and provides increased capacity, improved delivery efficiency through strong transport links, and places 3PLWOW in an established employment location with potential for further job creation.
Andrew Jones, co-head of real estate at Mileway said: “We’re pleased to welcome 3PLWOW to Unit 5 at Blyth Riverside Park. This deal – one of the largest lettings in South Northumberland in recent years – underlines strong demand for high quality logitstics space in the North East.
“Following our refurbishment, the building offers a modern spec and a better working environment – ready to support efficient, customer-focused operations.”
Derek Finney, founder of 3PLWOW, said: “We needed a larger North Tyneside / South Northumberland base, and this unit gives us the space, spec and connectivity to scale. It supports our growth and helps us deliver an even stronger service for customers.”
