Naylors completes 22,000 sq ft Gateway House refurb
Naylors has completed the office development in Newcastle, delivering a major expansion for UK financial advice firm True Potential and doubling its head office capacity.
Appointed in 2024, the commercial property consultancy supported True Potential – which works with more than 1,100 financial advisers nationwide – in securing additional space to accommodate continued growth.
Working at Gateway House at Newburn Riverside Business Park, Naylors provided pre-acquisition surveys, lease advice and full project management of the refurbishment.
The scheme was led by partner and chartered building surveyor Scott Clarke, who oversaw a 12-month programme to transform the former multi-let property into a single, cohesive workspace.
Positioned next to the firm’s headquarters at Newburn House, the acquisition and redevelopment of Gateway House effectively doubles True Potential’s on-site capacity, underlining its ongoing investment in people, infrastructure and its North East base.
Chameleon Business Interiors was appointed to deliver the design and fit-out. The completed space offers a contemporary working environment, with open-plan office areas, meeting rooms, breakout spaces and upgraded kitchen facilities.
Scott Clarke, partner at Naylors, said: “This was an ambitious project which has transformed a series of individual units into one large, open plan office space over three floors – designed to inspire.
“We’re incredibly proud of the end result which will allow a fantastic company to grow and thrive.”
Rebecca Hope, operations manager at True Potential, said: “We want our colleagues to feel motivated and proud – proud of the business they’re part of and energised by the environment around them. Gateway House feels like a space that reflects our ambition and our future.”
