Story Homes takes principal contractor role at Killingworth Gate
The move marks the latest milestone for the 169-home development, which received full planning permission from North Tyneside Council in December 2025.
Construction is progressing, with groundworks and infrastructure works underway as Story Homes assumes responsibility for managing and coordinating the construction phase.
The development at Killingworth Moor will comprise a mix of two- to six-bedroom homes, including affordable housing, alongside green spaces, landscaping, and tree planting.
It is part of the wider Killingworth Moor Masterplan, one of two Strategic Allocations identified in North Tyneside Council’s Local Plan.
