Stradivarius debuts at Metrocentre
The fashion brand has moved into its 10,000 sq ft premises at the shopping destination, marking its first foray into the North East.
The deal was made back in February, and the store is located on the Lower Red Mall in company with similar brands Reiss, Mango, and Zara.
CBRE is the asset manager for the UK’s second largest shopping centre, which saw a 10% increase in visitors in 2024 as it welcomed 15.8m people.
Urban Outfitters is also set to join in the coming months, taking 8,000 sq ft.
Ben Cox, director at Sovereign Centros from CBRE, asset manager of Metrocentre, said: “Stradivarius is a great addition to Red Mall, enhancing the line-up by providing a complementary, point of difference to the existing fashion offer.
“That Metrocentre is the only place in the region you can now find fashion powerhouses Zara and Stradivarius is an indication of the destination’s importance to the North East retail landscape; somewhere that creates unique day-out experiences and an unparalleled tenant mix.”
Lunson Mitchenall acted for Sovereign Centros from CBRE.
