Urban Outfitters comes to Metrocentre
The 8,000 sq ft unit marks the brand’s first UK store acquisition of 2025, and its second location in the North East.
Urban Outfitters will be located on the upper Red Mall at the Gateshead shopping centre, close to Zara, H&M, and New Look.
It follows recent a recent 10,000 sq ft signing from fashion brain Stradivarius, who chose the Metrocentre for its debut North East location.

“The demand for trend-setting brands such as Urban Outfitters continues to grow, and it’s a strong message to play host to its first UK store opening of the year.
