Avison Young appoints director of building and project consultancy
Kathryn Gardner will join the Newcastle team, with a focus on increasing the firm’s Tees Valley activity.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Gardner was project director at K2 Consultancy; regional director at Atkins Realis where she acted as the client lead for the Teesworks programme; and has also worked at Highways England and Faithful & Gould.
Over the course of her career, she has managed high-profile projects worth up to £5bn across sectors including data centres, manufacturing, highways and rail, and has more than 25 years of experience in delivering projects in Teesside.
Outside of her professional remit, Gardner is also a board director at Constructing Excellence North East and chair of the Value Theme group.
