North East unites for UKREiiF
For the first time, all seven local authorities and the Mayor will attend the real estate exhibition as one delegation.
Joined by members of the private sector, the initiative is being delivered by NewcastleGateshead Initiative on behalf of the North East Combined Authority.
This year’s event will take place between 20-22 May and this united approach is intended to champion and strengthen the investment opportunities throughout the North East region.
Members of the delegation include SSE Energy Solutions, Newcastle International Airport, Pegasus Group, Arup, Knight Frank, igloo Regeneration, Newcastle University, Northumbria University, Rolton Group, Ward Hadaway, and Naylors Gavin Black.
North East Mayor, Kim McGuinness, said: “I am really excited about UKREiiF this year because for the first time we are coming together with one voice, as North East England, to promote our region as a place to do business in a new and powerful way.”

Cllr Micheal Mordey, portfolio holder for finance and investment at NECA added: “It’s fantastic to see all seven local authorities joining forces to showcase everything that is great about our region.
