Yates on the move to Cushman & Wakefield

James Yates has joined at partner level to head the Yorkshire & North East capital markets team, arriving from a 15-year spell with Avison Young.

Yates, who was a director at AY and started last week in his new role, brings 15 years’ experience in real estate advisory to C&W. He will be primarily based in the Leeds office.

He has advised a range of clients on commercial property transactions across all UK market sectors, including Aviva, CBRE IM, Copley Point Capital, M7, and local authorities across the country.
