Green light for Blyth South Beach development

The second phase of The Links project at the former Link House Farm has been approved, with Northumberland County Council giving the go-ahead for a 80-bed hotel, a pub, and retail outlets.

Plessey Checks Farming is the applicant, with the wider project team consisting of IDP as architect, ELG on planning, E3 Ecology, and Hydrock.

Phase one consisted of retail outlets on a nearby site, which completed in 2023.

Located around 1.5 miles south of Blyth town centre the tw0-acre site will house the hotel, a family pub serving food with indoor and outdoor seating, and retail pods designed to house small businesses such as coffee shops and surf board hire.
