Parker Knights brings in Routledge

Formerly of BNP Paribas, John Routledge has joined Newcastle workplace specialist Parker Knights as associate director.

Parker Knights was established in 2022 by Michael Downey, who had previously worked for firms including Lambert Smith Hampton and Sanderson Weatherall.

Parker Knights focuses on the office market, including lettings, investment sales and landlord & tenant work.

Routledge had worked at BNP Paribas Real Estate since 2018, achieving his chartered status in 2020.

Parker Knights has accounted for 29% of total North East office agency take-up so far in 2023, said the firm, which includes among its current instructions Portland House – the former Newcastle Building Society HQ that has been among the deals this year.

The firm has also been instructed on 1 Citygate, along with Knight Frank.
