Place North and Invest Newcastle will work together to promote the region and the delegation’s members at the international property expo in March.

MIPIM 2024 will be the eighth time Invest Newcastle, part of the NewcastleGateshead Initiative, has attended MIPIM to promote investment opportunities in the North East.

Businesses from across the property sector will join the delegation, with those signed up already including Avison Young, Pradera Lateral, NCG, Ryder, Newcastle University, Northumbria University, Rolton Group, Naylors Gavin Black, Hanro, Todd Milburn, NEPO, Aptus Construction, Fenwick and FaulknerBrowns, along with Newcastle City Council, Gateshead Council and Durham County Council.

Jennifer Hartley, director, Invest Newcastle, said: “We’re super excited to be working with Place North to promote our MIPIM programme and raise awareness of the breadth of opportunities the North East has to offer.

“2024 looks set to be an incredibly important year for Invest Newcastle and we look forward to taking our message to new audiences through this partnership with Place.”

Dino Moutsopoulos, managing partner of Place North, said: “We’re extremely pleased with this agreement with Invest Newcastle.

Place North East has been going less than a year but the relationship we have struck up with Jen, Richard and the team has been excellent.

“I’m very much looking forward to supporting our current North East clients whilst shining a spotlight on North East businesses at MIPIM and working closely with Invest Newcastle to promote investment opportunities and bring a wider market to Newcastle’s door.”
